Ενέργεια και δόμηση στο επίκεντρο των εκθέσεων Aqua-Therm και Infacoma
Ο δυναμισμός και η εξωστρέφεια της βιομηχανίας θέρμανσης, εξαερισμού και κλιματισμού, αλλά και ευρύτερα του κλάδου της δόμησης, παρουσιάζονται φέτος στο εκθεσιακό δίδυμο των διοργανώσεων της Aqua-Therm και της Infacoma.
Οι δύο εκθέσεις, που πραγματοποιούνται από τις 11-14 Φεβρουαρίου 2016 στο Διεθνές Εκθεσιακό Κέντρο της Θεσσαλονίκης, συμπυκνώνουν την προσπάθεια για επανεκκίνηση των επενδύσεων στη δόμηση με «αιχμή» σημαντικά σχέδια, τα οποία υλοποιούνται κυρίως στον τουριστικό κλάδο.
Την ίδια στιγμή, η Aqua-Therm και η Infacoma αντικατοπτρίζουν όλες τις σύγχρονες τεχνολογίες και μορφές ενέργειας με έμφαση στην αειφορία και στη βιώσιμη ανάπτυξη.
Η διαχείριση του νερού, οι ανανεώσιμες πηγές ενέργειας, το pellet, το φυσικό αέριο, η ηλιακή ενέργεια και γεωθερμία στη θέρμανση-ψύξη και στους λέβητες-καυστήρες- θερμάστρες, οι αντλίες θερμότητας, η υπέρυθρη θέρμανση, τα νέα υλικά, η αναβάθμιση κτιρίων, η εξοικονόμηση ενέργειας και η σύγχρονη αρχιτεκτονική, συναντώνται μέσα στις δύο εκθέσεις.
Η 1η έκθεση Aqua-Therm αποτελεί καρπό της συνεργασίας μεταξύ της ΔΕΘ –HELEXPO και του μεγαλύτερου εκθεσιακού ομίλου στον κόσμο, της Reed Exhibitions.
H Infacoma συνιστά την πιο διαχρονική έκθεση στο χώρο της δόμησης και των κατασκευών, καθώς εδώ και 33 χρόνια καθορίζει και αφουγκράζεται τις τάσεις του κλάδου, αποτελώντας το επίκεντρο της επιχειρηματικής δικτύωσης και προσφέροντας τη δυνατότητα για σημαντικές Β2Β συναντήσεις και συμφωνίες.
Κατά τη διάρκεια της έκθεσης θα πραγματοποιηθεί και η παράλληλη εκδήλωση DPOINT GREEN VILLAGE που εστιάζει στη βιωσιμότητα και τις πράσινες κατασκευές. Η εκδήλωση θα περιλαμβάνει εικονική περιήγηση στο 0+ HOUSE, ένα σπίτι που εναρμονίζεται με τις «πράσινες» πρακτικές και είναι 100% αειφόρο (βιωσιμότητα και χαμηλές εκπομπές CO2).
Στο ίδιο πλαίσιο, έχει προγραμματιστεί και το σχετικό συνέδριο, DPOINT GREEN CONFERENCE που θα φιλοξενήσει επαγγελματίες και ακαδημαϊκούς, που σχετίζονται με την πράσινη δόμηση και τις εναλλακτικές πηγές ενέργειας.

Ματαίωση των παραστάσεων της Πέμπτης 4/2/2016,
λόγω της γενικής απεργίας
Το Κρατικό Θέατρο Βορείου Ελλάδοςλόγω της 24ωρης πανελλαδικής απεργίας που έχουν εξαγγείλει οι Α.ΔΕ.ΔΥ και Γ.Σ.Ε.Ε. την Πέμπτη 4/2/16, στην οποία συμμετέχουν το Σωματείο Ελλήνων Ηθοποιών και ο Σύλλογος Εργαζομένων στο ΚΒΘΕ Πάσης Φύσεως Προσωπικού, ανακοινώνει ότι δε θα πραγματοποιηθούν οι παραστάσεις της συγκεκριμένης ημέρας, δίνοντας ωστόσο τη δυνατότητα της επιστροφής ή αλλαγής των εισιτηρίων, που έχουν ήδη εκδοθεί.
Το χρονικό διάστημα εξαργύρωσης ή αλλαγής των εισιτηρίων τους ορίζεται από την επομένη της απεργίας 5/2/16 έως τις 14/2/16.

Καφέ της Επιστήμης 8.2.2016
Τα ελληνικά αρωματικά-φαρμακευτικά φυτά στην καθημερινή διατροφή
Με τη συνεργασία του Γαλλικού Ινστιτούτου Θεσσαλονίκης, του Βρετανικού Συμβουλίου και του ΝΟΗΣΙΣ συνεχίζεται για ενδέκατη συνεχή χρονιά η πραγματοποίηση των «Καφέ της Επιστήμης», που όπως πάντα, σας προσκαλούν να απολαύσετε τον καφέ σας και να συζητήσετε με τους ειδικούς επιστημονικά ζητήματα που προκαλούν το ενδιαφέρον μας.
Στο Καφέ της Επιστήμης αυτού του Φεβρουαρίου, ο Νίκος Κρίγκας (ΕΔΙΠ του Τήματος Βιολογίας Α.Π.Θ.) και η Διαμάντω Λάζαρη (Επίκουρη Καθηγήτρια του Τμήματος Φαρμακευτικής Α.Π.Θ.), θα μας ξεναγήσουν στον υπέροχο κόσμο των αρωματικών-φαρμακευτικών φυτών της Ελλάδας και θα μας μυήσουν στη χρήση τους στην καθημερινή διατροφή.
Οι παρευρισκόμενοι θα έχουν την ευκαιρία να γνωρίσουν τα συστατικά, τη θρεπτική αξία και τις ευεργετικές ιδιότητες επιλεγμένων φυτών, καθώς και ειδικές συ¬στάσεις, προφυλάξεις και μυστικά στη χρησιμοποίησή τους.
Η παρουσίαση καθώς και η συζήτηση που θα ακολουθήσει, θα πραγματοποιηθούν τη Δευτέρα 8 Φεβρουαρίου 2016, στις 19.00, στο Γαλλικό Ινστιτούτο (Λεωφόρος Στρατού 2Α).
Ο Νίκος Κρίγκας είναι Βιολόγος με διδακτορικές σπουδές στο ΑΠΘ και πολύχρονη εξειδίκευση στη συστηματική βοτανική και ταξινόμηση των φυτών.
Η Διαμάντω Λάζαρη είναι φαρμακοποιός με διδακτορικές σπουδές στο Εθνικό και Καποδιστριακό Πανεπιστήμιο Αθηνών και μακροχρόνια εξειδίκευση στη φαρμακογνωσία και φυτοχημεία.
Οι ομιλητές συμμετέχουν στην συγγραφική ομάδα του βιβλίου «Με…Νου, Αρωματόκηπος και Ευεξία» (Εκδόσεις Πατάκης 2015).

1974: απάγεται η Πατρίσια Χιρστ, η 19χρονη κόρη του δισεκατομμυριούχου εκδότη Γουίλιαμ Ράντολφ Χηρστ, από την SLA μια ριζοσπαστική ομάδα ακτιβιστών. Μολονότι ο πάμπλουτος εκδότης πλήρωσε τα λύτρα, οι απαγωγείς δεν απελευθέρωσαν την Πάτι. Μερικά χρόνια αργότερα η Χιρστ φυλακίζεται αφού διαπιστώνεται ότι, προσχώρησε στην οργάνωση και είχε πάρει μέρος σε αιματηρές επιθέσεις και ληστείες.
1974: στην Κίνα, ο Μάο κηρύττει νέα πολιτιστική επανάσταση.

1996: στη νοτιοδυτική Κίνα, πάνω από 240 άτομα χάνουν τη ζωή τους από καταστροφικό σεισμό 7 βαθμών της κλίμακας Ρίχτερ.
1997: ο Αμερικανός ποδοσφαιριστής Ο. Τζ. 1997: στην Κύπρο, ο Πρόεδρος Γλαύκος Κληρίδης επαναλαμβάνει την αντίθεσή του στη λύση της Συνομοσπονδίας.
1998: ισχυρός σεισμός 6,1 της κλίμακας Ρίχτερ χτυπά το βορειοανατολικό Αφγανιστάν, με αποτέλεσμα περίπου 5000 άτομα έχασαν τη ζωή τους.
1999: εκλέγεται Πρόεδρος της Βενεζουέλας ο Ούγκο Τσάβεζ Φρίας.
2000: εννιά χρόνια μετά το θάνατο του Συμεών Μαυροσκούφη το Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame αποφασίζει να συμπεριλάβει τον Έλληνα μπασκετμπολίστα ανάμεσα στους κορυφαίους του αθλήματος. Πρόκειται για μία τιμή που κανένας άλλος Έλληνας δεν έχει πάρει, γεγονός που κάνει ακόμα πιο σημαντική τη διάκριση. Ο Μαυροσκούφης μάλιστα ήταν ένας από τους 8 αντιπροσώπους, που υπέγραψαν τη δήλωση ίδρυσης της FIBA (της Παγκόσμιας Ομοσπονδίας Μπάσκετ) τον Μάιο του 1932.
2001: πεθαίνει σε ηλικία 78 ετών στο Παρίσι, ο συνθέτης Ιάνης Ξενάκης.
2002: μεγάλες κινητοποιήσεις πραγματοποιούν οι αγρότες στη Θεσσαλία. Αποκλεισμένοι είναι αρκετοί δρόμοι, δημιουργώντας έτσι αρκετές εντάσεις.
2002: οι μεγάλες αγροτικές κινητοποιήσεις, που πραγματοποιούν οι αγρότες της Θεσσαλίας έχουν ως αποτέλεσμα τον αποκλεισμό πολλών δρόμων και της Εθνικής Οδού δημιουργώντας έτσι πολλές εντάσεις.

Μολονότι ο πάμπλουτος εκδότης πλήρωσε τα λύτρα, οι απαγωγείς δεν απελευθέρωσαν την Πάτι. Η Ρωσία τιμώμενη χώρα στην 81η ΔΕΘ
Τιμώμενη χώρα στην 81η ΔΕΘ θα είναι η Ρωσία, σε μια κίνηση που σφυρηλατεί με τον καλύτερο τρόπο τις σχέσεις της με την Ελλάδα. Πρόκειται για μια προσπάθεια που η ΔΕΘ-Helexpo ξεκίνησε πριν από δύο χρόνια και η οποία ευοδώθηκε σε μια ιδανική στιγμή, καθώς το 2016 έχει ανακηρυχθεί «Έτος Ελλάδας-Ρωσίας». Ο θεσμός της τιμώμενης χώρας επανέρχεται μετά από τέσσερα χρόνια. Η τελευταία τιμώμενη χώρα ήταν η Σερβία, το 2011, στην 76η ΔΕΘ.
Ενδεικτική της σημασίας που αποδίδει η Ρωσία στην παρουσία της στην 81η ΔΕΘ είναι η σχετική αναφορά του ίδιου του Ρώσου προέδρου, Βλαντιμίρ Πούτιν, στο θέμα, κατά την πρόσφατη επίσκεψη του Έλληνα Προέδρου της Δημοκρατίας, κ. Προκόπη Παυλόπουλου, στη Μόσχα. Τη ρωσική συμμετοχή έχει αναλάβει το υπουργείο Εμπορίου και Βιομηχανίας της Ρωσίας, το οποίο έχει ήδη δεσμεύσει το περίπτερο 16, επιφάνειας 3.000 τ.μ., αλλά και τον υπαίθριο χώρο μπροστά από αυτό, για την φιλοξενία των ρωσικών επιχειρήσεων. Με την αφορμή της ρωσικής εθνικής παρουσίας θα διοργανωθούν πολλές παράλληλες εκδηλώσεις, πολιτιστικού, ψυχαγωγικού και εκπαιδευτικού χαρακτήρα, ενώ θα πραγματοποιηθεί και επιχειρηματικό φόρουμ, με αντικείμενο το επενδυτικό ενδιαφέρον των ρωσικών επιχειρήσεων για την Ελλάδα και τα πεδία δυνητικής συνεργασίας των δύο πλευρών. Το περιεχόμενο της ρωσικής συμμετοχής και τις δράσεις που θα την πλαισιώσουν θα παρουσιάσουν τον Μάρτιο εκπρόσωποι του υπουργείου Εμπορίου και Βιομηχανίας της Ρωσίας, οι οποίοι θα βρεθούν για τον σκοπό αυτό στη Θεσσαλονίκη.
Η ΔΕΘ-Helexpo συνεχίζει την στρατηγική της διεθνοποίησης, δημιουργώντας τις προϋποθέσεις για διεθνείς συνεργασίες και προσφέροντας ευκαιρίες στις ελληνικές επιχειρήσεις για εξωστρεφείς διεξόδους.

Earth, Wind & Fire soul band founder Maurice White dies
The founder of soul group Earth, Wind & Fire, Maurice White, has died in the US, his brother has said.
White, 74, died in his sleep in Los Angeles on Thursday morning. He suffered from Parkinson's Disease.
His band had a series of hits including September, Boogie Wonderland, Shining Star and After the Love has Gone.
The singer-songwriter was diagnosed with Parkinson's in 1992 but his condition was reported to have got worse in recent months.
Earth, Wind & Fire were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2000, and Maurice was individually inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2010.
Popularly known by his nickname of Reese, he worked with various well-known recording artists such as The Emotions, Barbra Streisand, Cher and Neil Diamond.
Earth, Wind & Fire have sold more than 90 million albums worldwide.
"My brother, hero and best friend Maurice White passed away peacefully last night in his sleep," Verdine White, also a member of the band, told The Associated Press on Thursday.
"While the world has lost another great musician and legend, our family asks that our privacy is respected as we start what will be a very difficult and life changing transition in our lives. Thank you for your prayers and well wishes."
