Αμφίπολη: Βρέθηκαν νομίσματα του Μεγάλου Αλεξάνδρου
Στο αμφιθέατρο του υπουργείου Πολιτισμού ξεκίνησε, χθες, λίγα λεπτά μετά τις 11 το πρωί, η παρουσίαση των ευρημάτων της ανασκαφής στον Τύμβο Καστά της Αμφίπολης. Παρών και ο υπουργός Πολιτισμού Κώστας Τασούλας.
Την αρχή έκανε ο αρχαιολόγος Βασίλειος Λαμπρινουδάκης, που χαρακτήρισε το μνημείο της Αμφίπολης ως "λαμπρή ψηφίδα στην ιστορία της Ελλάδας". Στη συνέχεια, τον λόγο πήρε ο αρχαιολόγος Νικόλαος Σταμπολίδης που έδωσε την έναρξη για τον επιστημοικό διάλογο του θέματος.
Έπειτα τον λόγο πήρε η Κατερίνα Περιστέρη, ώστε να περιγράψει τις ανασκαφές από το 2012 έως σήμερα.
Αφού αναφέρθηκε στο 2012 και στο 2013, περιέγραψε αναλυτικά και όσες κινήσεις έγιναν μέσα στο τρέχον έτος, τονίζοντας πως ακόμα οι ερευνητές δεν γνωρίζουν ποιος είνια ο νεκρός της Αμφίπολης.
"Ξέρετε πολύ καλά ότι το πιο δύσκολο τώρα αρχίζει. Είναι η μελέτη που θα μας δώσει τα συμπεράσματα που όλοι περιμένουμε. Ξεκινήσαμε το 2012, μια μικρή ομάδα με πολύ μεράκι και όρεξη, για να δούμε τι συμβαίνει στον λόφο μυστήριο. Ήταν αφημένος για χρόνια, δεν πίστευαν πως είχε να δώσει άλλα πράγματα. Αυτό ήταν ένα έναυσμα για να δούμε τι πραγματικά γίνεται. Οι κάτοικοι μιλούσαν για τον 'τάφο της Βασίλισσας'. Σκεφτείτε όμως ότι πάντα κάτι έχουν να πουν όσα ακούγονται σε έναν τόπο. Ελπίζαμε να οριοθετήσουμε τον τύμβο γιατί δεν ήταν στρογγυλός μετά από όλα αυτά τα χρόνια και τις ανασκαφές", είπε στην έναρξη της ομίλίας της.
Σε όλη την ομιλία της η Κατερίνα Περιστέρη έδωσε πολλές πληροφορίες για τα ευρήματα και τον νεκρό της Αμφίπολης. Μάλιστα, μετά την πίεση των δημοσιογράφων, δέχτηκε να δώσει στην δημοσιότητα φωτογραφίες του σκελετού, τονίζοντας ότι έχει πειραχθεί από τυμβωρύχους. Όπως χαρακτηριστικά είπε, στον χώρο της Αμφίπολης οργίαζε η αρχαιοκαπηλεία, ενώ στην αρχή ο περίβολος μπροστά από τα σκαλοπάτια ήταν ανοικτός. "Άρα ο τύμβος ήταν κάποτε επισκέψιμος", δήλωσε.
Σχετικά με την ταυτότητα του νεκρού είππε: "Υπάρχουν μαρτυρίες από το παρελθόν ότι υπήρχε η πρόθεση του Μεγάλου Αλεξάνδρου για την δημιουργία ενός μεγάλου μνημείου. Η Αμφίπολη ήταν ένα πολύ σημαντικό κέντρο. Μέσα στον τύμβο υπήρχε μια σημαντική προσωπικότητα αλλιώς δεν θα έστηναν το λιοντάρι στην κορυφή".
Πριν από λίγο καιρό είχε δηλώσει ότι στον τάφο είναι πιθανό να θάφτηκε ένας Μακεδόνας στρατηγός. Σήμερα σχολίαση και την θέση της αυτή, λέγοντας: "Με ένα λιοντάρι στην κορυφή και ένα τέτοιο τεράστιο μνημείο θα μπορούσε να είναι στρατηγός είχα πει όταν, με είχατε ρωτήσει παλιότερα. Όταν βρέθηκε ο σκελετός δεν θα μπορούσε ποτέ ένας αρχαιολόγος να πει αν είναι άνδρας ή γυναίκα. Βρέθηκε σε άσχημη κατάσταση. Εγώ μιλώ με βάση το ίδιο το μνημείο. Είπα ότι όταν υπάρχει ένα λιοντάρι στην κορυφή θα μπορούσε να είναι στρατηγός. Δεν απαντώ σε θεωρίες συνωμοσίας ότι εκεί είναι θαμμένος ο Μέγας Αλέξανδρος".
Παράλληλα, η κα Περιστέρη αποκάλυψε ότι στον τύμβο Καστά βρέθηκαν νομίσματα του Μεγάλου Αλέξανδρου, καθώς και του 2ου και 3ου πΧ αιώνα, αλλά και στοιχεία κεραμικής. Παρόλο που σαν εύρημα μπορεί να συνδέεται με τον νεκρό, η ίδια είπε ότι "αυτά τα νομίσματα ήταν πολύ κοινά και θα μπορούσαν να βρεθούν παντού", προσθέτοντας ότι το θέμα είναι στη φάση της επεξεργασίας.
Ακόμη, υποστήριξε ότι το πρόσωπο της δεξιάς Καρυάτιδας δεν διασώζεται, επειδή ένα δοκάρι που βρισκόταν μέσα στην επίχωση έπεσε, αφαιρώντας τα χαρακτηριστικά της γυναικείας μορφής.
Επιπροσθέτως, βρέθηκε αντίβαρο αλλά και πέδιλα έδρασης ρωμαϊκού γερανού, γεγονός που καταδεικνύει ότι χρησιμοποιήθηκε το μηχάνημα από Ρωμαίους για να αποξηλώσουν το μαρμάρινο υλικό, να το μεταφέρουν και να το επαναχρησιμοποιούν σε άλλα έργα.
Αναφορικά με την πορεία των ανασκαφών η κ. Περιστέρη δήλωσε ότι η ανασκαφή του τάφου έχει μόλις τελειώσει, αλλά όλοι οι ερευνητές ελπίζουν πως του χρόνου θα συνεχίσουν σε άλλο σημείο. Ο ΧΑΡΤΗΣ ΤΩΝ ΓΕΥΣΕΩΝ ΣΗΜΕΡΑ ΣΤΟ ΛΙΜΑΝΙ ΘΕΣΣΑΛΟΝΙΚΗΣ
Περισσότεροι από 90 οινοποιοί από τις σημαντικότερες αμπελουργικές περιοχές της Ελλάδας, αποσταγματοποιοί και εισαγωγείς οίνων, παρουσιάζουν τα κρασιά τους, σήμερα (13.00 - 21.00), στο πλαίσιο του Χάρτη των Γεύσεων, στην Αποθήκη Γ, στο λιμάνι Θεσσαλονίκης.
Ο Χάρτης των Γεύσεων είναι μια ετήσια διοργάνωση της Wine Plus που πραγματοποιείται εδώ και 12 χρόνια δίνοντας την ευκαιρία σε φίλους του κρασιού να δοκιμάσουν ένα ευρύ φάσμα κρασιών ξεκινώντας από τα φρέσκα της εσοδείας 2014 , τις νέες ετικέτες και συσκευασίες, αρκετές από τις οποίες θα κάνουν το ντεμπούτο τους στην εκδήλωση, αλλά και γνωστά κρασιά από φημισμένες περιοχές της Ελλάδας και της υφηλίου.
Ταυτόχρονα οι επισκέπτες έχουν την ευκαιρία να συνομιλήσουν και να ανταλλάξουν απόψεις με τους πρωταγωνιστές του οινικού τομέα αλλά και να παρακολουθήσουν τις παράλληλες εκδηλώσεις.

Ο δημοφιλέστερος προορισμός για τους Αυστραλούς για το 2015 θα είναι η ασιατική Μιανμάρ
Η Μύκονος θα είναι ο δεύτερος δημοφιλέστερος προορισμός των Αυστραλών τουριστών για το 2015. Αυτό προκύπτει από έρευνα της εταιρείας Skyscanner που καταγράφει τους τουριστικούς προορισμούς που ψάχνουν στο διαδίκτυο όσοι σκέφτονται να ταξιδέψουν το 2015.Σύμφωνα με την ίδια έρευνα, η Μύκονος «ξαναγίνεται της μόδας» στην Αυστραλία, ενώ ο δημοφιλέστερος προορισμός για τους Αυστραλούς το 2015 είναι η ασιατική Μιανμάρ.

ΚΩΜΩΔΙΑ ΣΕΡΕΦΑ ΣΤΟ 'ΦΑΡΓΚΑΝΗ'
Πρεμιέρα έκανε στο Θέατρο Φαργκάνη, η σπονδυλωτή κωμωδία του Σάκη Σερέφα «Ζήτω η αμφίβολη ζωή».
Σχετικά με το έργο, ο Σκηνοθέτης του και Διευθυντής του Θεάτρου Αναζήτηση Θεσσαλονίκης, Αχιλλέας Ψαλτόπουλος, λέει : «Ένας παππούς, στα 98 του, καβάλα σ’ένα ποδήλατο, φέρνει γύρους το χωριό του, φωνάζοντας : «Ζήτω, η Αμφίβολη Ζωή». Ο δόκιμος Σάκης Σερέφας, σκιαγραφεί 12 πορτραίτα σημερινών Ελλήνων σε τοπία αστικά, νησιώτικα, του χωριού, ή του διαστήματος. Ζωή, φαγητό, μοναξιά, θάνατος. Δεξιοτεχνικά περνάει από το χιούμορ στη συγκίνηση κι από κει πίσω στο γέλιο. Και απευθύνεται μετωπικά σε όλους εμάς που βρισκόμαστε επί σκηνής ή στην πλατεία. Με παιχνιδιάρικη διάθεση, χωρίς μακρηγορίες και δραματολογικούς εξαναγκασμούς μας κάνει να συλλογιστούμε πάνω στην «ανθρώπινη κατάσταση». Κανείς μας δεν θα θρηνήσει ανωφέλετα. Αντίθετα, θα βγούμε μ’ ένα πλατύ λυτρωτικό χαμόγελο. Γιατί κάπου μέσα στο έργο, η επικοινωνία έρχεται. Με τον πιο απρόβλεπτο τρόπο. Γιατί ο έρωτας αχνοφέγγει. Γιατί η αγάπη του Σάκη, για τους ήρωές του, μεταδίδεται με σαρωτικό τρόπο και στην πλατεία. Η σκηνοθεσία έσκυψε με την ίδια αγάπη πάνω σ’ αυτούς τους κατά βάση αντι-ήρωες. Θυμήθηκε το πόσο μαγευτική είναι η αφήγηση από τους παραμυθάδες ή τις γιαγιάδες μας, όταν ήμασταν μικροί . Σε σημεία έκρινε πως έπρεπε να εισβάλλει και η αναπαράσταση. Επέβαλε στους 7 ηθοποιούς να είναι απόλυτα ειλικρινείς στις ερμηνείες τους. Έτσι που αυτός ο «αόρατος θίασος να περνά» στο προσκήνιο «με μουσικές εξαίσιες, με φωνές…», ελπίζουμε, μαγευτικές. Ευχαριστώ, όλους τους συνεργάτες μου, που μ’ εμπιστεύτηκαν σ’ αυτό το εγχείρημα, και που αν και από διαφορετικούς χώρους προερχόμενοι, συνεργαστήκαμε ιδανικά.»
Και ο Συγγραφέας του έργου, Σάκης Σερέφας σχολιάζει : «Ένας σουβλατζής που κρατάει αναπάντεχα στη χούφτα του ένα κομμάτι από βαμβάκι βουτηγμένο στα λίπια, με μια στάμπα από κραγιόν απάνω του. Ένα πιτσιρίκι το οποίο μια γριά το ρωτάει: «Τρως γριές, δεν τρως;». Μια μοναχική κυρία η οποία χτυπάει μια ξένη πόρτα κι αμέσως βρίσκεται με ένα ποτήρι κρασί στο χέρι της. Ένας μασέρ ο οποίος όσο μαλάσσει κρέατα νιώθει πως η ζωή είναι ένα σφαγείο. Δώδεκα ιστορίες που δείχνουν πόσο απρόοπτες είναι οι ζωές μας. Για καλό ή για κακό.
Δώδεκα ιστορίες που αμφισβητούν τις μασίφ βεβαιότητες μέσα στις οποίες κατοικούν οι τρόμοι ή οι παρηγοριές μας. Και που θέτουν στον θεατή το ερώτημα : «Εσύ, τι θάκανες ;»
Δώδεκα ιστορίες στις οποίες οι άνθρωποί τους παίρνουν ρίσκα, θέλουν δεν θέλουν.
Άνθρωποι που τελικά αναφωνούν λυτρωτικά: «Ζήτω η Αμφίβολη Zωή!»

Χριστίνα Καραγρηγορίου, Στέργιος Κωνσταντζίκης, Νάνσυ Σακελλαρίδου, Βασίλειος Σταθόπουλος, Θοδωρής Τέρπος, Αχιλλέας Ψαλτόπουλος και σε έκτακτη συμμετοχή ο Διογένης Δασκάλου.

Ο ρόκερ, ηθοποιός και σόουμαν Βλάσης Μπονάτσος γεννήθηκε στην Αθήνα στις 30 Νοεμβρίου 1951.
Τα πρώτα του καλλιτεχνικά βήματα τα έκανε στα τέλη της δεκαετίας του ’60 με το μουσικό συγκρότημα Πελόμα Μποκιού, όπου είχε υπογράψει τη μεγάλη επιτυχία Γαρύφαλλος.
Σταθμός στη θεατρική του πορεία ήταν η ερμηνεία του στο μιούζικαλ Εβίτα, όπου στο πλευρό της τότε συντρόφου του Αλίκης Βουγιουκλάκη, υποδύθηκε τον Τσε Γκεβάρα.
Από τις μεγαλύτερες τηλεοπτικές του επιτυχίες ήταν Οι Απαράδεκτοι, μαζί με το Γιάννη Μπέζο, τον Σπύρο Παπαδόπουλο και τη Δήμητρα Παπαδοπούλου. Επίσης, ήταν ο πρώτος Έλληνας που παρουσίασε τηλεοπτικές φάρσες σε επώνυμους, ανοίγοντας το δρόμο σ’ ένα πολύ δημοφιλές είδος ψυχαγωγικής εκπομπής. Ασχολήθηκε, ακόμα, με τηλεπαιχνίδια και τηλεοπτικά σόου.
Ο Βλάσης Μπονάτσος ήταν παντρεμένος με τη Μάρθα Κουτουμάνου, κόρη της Ζωής Λάσκαρη, και είχε μία κόρη, τη Ζένια.
Πέθανε στις 14 Οκτωβρίου 2004.

ΤΙ ΘΕΛΟΥΝ ΟΙ ΕΡΓΑΖΟΜΕΝΟΙ ΤΗΣ ΕΛΕΥΘΕΡΗΣ ΕΡΤ
ΑΝΑΚΟΙΝΩΣΗ Εργαζομένων Ελεύθερης ΕΡΤ
Οι εργαζόμενοι της Ελεύθερης ΕΡΤ πραγματοποίησαν Πανελλαδική Συνέλευση το Σάββατο 29/11/2014,στο πλαίσιο της διαδικασίας που έχει ξεκινήσει , με στόχο την διαμόρφωση πρότασης που θα περιγράφει «Τι ΕΡΤ θέλουμε».
Η Ομάδα Εργασίας, υλοποιώντας την απόφαση της προηγούμενης συνέλευσης κατέγραψε και κωδικοποίησε τις 27 προτάσεις που έχουν κατατεθεί από εργαζομένους και αλληλέγγυους στον αγώνα για την επαναλειτουργία της ΕΡΤ, και τις παρουσίασε στην Συνέλευση.
Η καταγραφή και κωδικοποίηση των προτάσεων οργανώθηκε σε τέσσερις θεματικές ενότητες:
- Με τι προσωπικό θα επαναλειτουργήσει η ΕΡΤ
- Τρόποι χρηματοδότησης της
- Δομή και Οργάνωση λειτουργίας
- Σύνδεση με τη κοινωνία
Η συζήτηση –ανάλυση των θεματικών ενοτήτων βασίζεται στην πολύτιμη εμπειρία των 17 μηνών αυτοοργάνωσης ,αλλά και την πολυετή εργασία όλων μας στην ΕΡΤ .
Γνωρίζουμε όλοι μας ΤΙ ΔΕΝ ΘΕΛΟΥΜΕ από τη κυβερνητική χειραγώγηση τις αγκυλώσεις, δυσλειτουργίες και στρεβλώσεις της κακοδιοίκησης των προηγουμένων ετών.
Η όσμωση με τη κοινωνία, αλλά και η ευθύνη που μοιραστήκαμε όλοι μας αυτούς τους 17 μήνες υπαγορεύει το σκεπτικό μας για ΤΗΝ ΕΡΤ ΠΟΥ ΘΕΛΟΥΜΕ ΝΑ ΕΠΑΝΑΛΕΙΤΟΥΡΓΗΣΕΙ.
Οι συνάδελφοι από την Αθήνα, την ΕΤ3 και τις περιφερειακές ΕΡΑ ανέπτυξαν τους προβληματισμούς και τις προτάσεις τους πάνω σε δυο θεματικές ενότητες και κατέληξαν σε ΕΝΙΑΙΑ ΘΕΣΗ για
* Τους τρόπους χρηματοδότησης της ΕΡΤ και
*Τη λειτουργία της ΕΤ3 και των Περιφερειακών ΕΡΑ.
Οι συλλογικές και δημοκρατικές διαδικασίες με στόχο την διατύπωση ενιαίας πρότασης και για τις υπόλοιπες θεματικές ,συνεχίζονται .
Η επόμενη συνέλευση θα πραγματοποιηθεί στην Αθήνα στις 13 και 14 Δεκεμβρίου.

Δεσμεύτηκε προσωρινά η περιουσία της εταιρίας του Αλέξανδρου Μπακατσέλου
Νέα δικαστική νίκη πέτυχαν σήμερα οι εργαζόμενοι στην εφημερίδα «Αγγελιοφόρος» στους οποίους οι εργοδότες της επιχείρησης Αλέξανδρος Μπακατσέλος, Σταύρος Ψυχάρης και Γιώργος Μπόμπολας οφείλουν δεδουλευμένα άνω των τεσσάρων μηνών.
Oι εργαζόμενοι κατέθεσαν στο Ειρηνοδικείο Θεσσαλονίκης αίτημα συντηρητικής κατάσχεσης ζητώντας να μη μεταβληθεί η περιουσιακή κατάσταση της εταιρίας.
Παρά το γεγονός ότι η αίτηση δε συζητήθηκε στην ουσία της λόγω της αποχής των δικηγόρων το δικαστήριο έκανε δεκτό το αίτημα των εργαζόμενων και έδωσε προσωρινή διαταγή με την οποία δεσμεύονται τα περιουσιακά στοιχεία της επιχείρησης μέχρι τις 10 Δεκεμβρίου οπότε και ορίστηκε να συζητηθεί στην ουσία της η αίτηση συντηρητικής κατάσχεσης. Οπως ειπώθηκε στο δικαστήριο ο φόβος των εργαζομένων είναι να μη μεταβιβαστούν περιουσιακά στοιχεία της εταιρίας Εκδοτικής Βορείου Ελλάδος στη νέα εταιρία που συνέστησε ο Αλέξανδρος Μπακατσέλος μαζί με την επιχείρηση που εκδίδει την εφημερίδα «Μακεδονία». Η συγκεκριμένη επιχειρηματική συμμαχία που προς το παρόν αφορά στον τομέα των εκτυπώσεων έχει στοιχεία μονοπωλιακού χαρακτήρα και έχει προκαλέσει μεγάλους φόβους στους εργαζόμενους και των δύο εταιρειών.
Η εφημερίδα «Αγγελιοφόρος» δε θα κυκλοφορήσει στα περίπτερα την Κυριακή λόγω της απεργίας που έχουν προκηρύξει οι εκπρόσωποι των σωματείων.

ΤΟ ΠΑΙΔΙΚΟ ΜΟΥΣΙΚΟ ΕΡΓΑΣΤΗΡΙ
Από το τμήμα χορωδίας της Ε.Π.Μ. Κατερίνης
Διδασκαλία της μουσικής αλλά και παιχνίδι συνδυάζει το ΜΟΥΣΙΚΟ ΕΡΓΑΣΤΗΡΙ που υλοποιεί εδώ και δύο χρόνια το τμήμα χορωδίας της Εστίας Πιερίδων Μουσών Κατερίνης για τους μικρούς φίλους της μουσικής τέχνης. Η μουσική αυτή προπαιδεία δίνει τη δυνατότητα σε παιδιά προσχολικής και σχολικής ηλικίας να γνωρίσουν την τέχνη των ήχων και του ακουστικού μέτρου μέσα από το παιχνίδι και τη ψυχαγωγία.
Το εκπαιδευτικό αυτό μέσο αποτελεί το ιδανικότερο εργαλείο εκμάθησης της μουσικής αρμονίας στις μικρές ηλικίες. Συνδυάζει τη γνωριμία με τις νότες και τα ακούσματα αλλά και την άσκηση του σώματος μέσα από την κίνηση, το παιχνίδι και το χορό.
<< Η ιδέα υλοποίησης του ΜΟΥΣΙΚΟΥ ΕΡΓΑΣΤΗΡΙΟΥ ξεκίνησε εδώ και δύο χρόνια, όταν οι γονείς ερχόμενοι στις πρόβες της χορωδίας συνοδεύονταν από τα παιδιά τους. Κρίναμε ότι τα παιδιά έπρεπε να απασχολούνται ώστε οι γονείς-χορωδοί να πραγματοποιούν ανεμπόδιστα τις πρόβες τους. Έτσι δημιουργήσαμε αυτή την μουσική προπαιδεία, διαπιστώνοντας στην συνέχεια ότι τα παιδιά αποδέχθηκαν και γοητεύτηκαν από την πρόταση που παράλληλα τα μυεί στη μουσική. Μέσα από διάφορες δραστηριότητες τα παιδιά απολαμβάνουν το παιχνίδι, τη χειροτεχνία και το χορό. Το πρόγραμμα υλοποιείται κάθε Παρασκευή στις 7:30 μ.μ. στο κτίριο της Εστίας Πιερίδων Μουσών Κατερίνης στην πλατεία Πολιτισμού της πόλης μας.
Τα παιδιά του ΜΟΥΣΙΚΟΥ ΕΡΓΑΣΤΗΡΙΟΥ θα επισκεφθούν στις 7 Δεκεμβρίου 2014 το χωριό του Αϊ Βασίλη στη Δράμα.

ΕΓΚΑΙΝΙΑ ΤΩΝ ΝΕΩΝ ΓΡΑΦΕΙΩΝ ΤΟΥ ΟΡΓΑΝΙΣΜΟΥ ΦΕΣΤΙΒΑΛ ΟΛΥΜΠΟΥ
Ο Οργανισμός Φεστιβάλ Ολύμπου οργανωνει την Τρίτη 2 Δεκεμβρίου , 1.30 το μεσημέρι, τα εγκαίνια των νέων του γραφείων που βρίσκονται στο ισόγειο του Διοικητηρίου της Περιφερειακής Ενότητας Πιερίας (πρώην Νομαρχία) 28ης Οκτωβρίου 40.
Τα εγκαίνια θα πραγματοποιηθούν με την παρουσία του Περιφερειάρχη Κεντρικής Μακεδονίας κ. Απόστολου Τζιτζικώστα και της Αντιπεριφερειάρχη Πιερίας κ. Σοφίας Μαυρίδου.

ΜΟΛΟΤΟΦ ΣΤΟ ΤΟΥΡΚΙΚΟ ΠΡΟΞΕΝΕΙΟ ΘΕΣΣΑΛΟΝΙΚΗΣ
Εμπρηστική επίθεση με μολότοφ στο Τουρκικό προξενείο Θεσσαλονίκης, σημειώθηκε τα ξημερώματα από ομάδα κουκουλοφόρων.
Οπως αναφέρουν πληροφορίες, 30 άτομα με καλυμμένα τα χαρακτηριστικά τους βγήκαν από την πλατεία Χημείου του ΑΠΘ και κατευθύνθηκαν από την οδό Εθνικής Αμύνης στην οδό Αγίου Δημητρίου, μπροστά από το Τουρκικό Προξενείο της Θεσσαλονίκης, όπου πέταξαν δέκα βόμβες μολότοφ, οι οποίες έσκασαν στο οδόστρωμα, σε κοντινή απόσταση από διμοιρία των ΜΑΤ.
Από την εμπρηστική επίθεση προκλήθηκαν φθορές σε δύο σταθμευμένα αυτοκίνητα.

Ο Ελληνας που κυνηγά τους αρχαιοκάπηλους
Οταν βλέπει ένα αρχαίο αντικείμενο που του θυμίζει κάτι, συνήθως δεν είναι για καλό. Οπως έγινε πριν από λίγες ημέρες, όταν ο δρ. Χρήστος Τσιρογιάννης εντόπισε κάτι ύποπτο σε κατάλογο του Christie's για μία δημοπρασία. Ο Ελληνας ερευνητής παράνομων αρχαιοτήτων και διεθνών αρχαιοκαπηλικών κυκλωμάτων στο Πανεπιστήμιο της Γλασκόβης είχε δίκιο, όντως το είχε ξαναδεί.
Ηταν ένα μαρμάρινο γυναικείο ειδώλιο Σαρδηνίας, του 2000 π.Χ., με την αξία του να εκτιμάται στα 1,2 εκατομμύρια δολάρια. Το ίδιο, εμφανιζόταν σπασμένο σε έξι κομμάτια στο αρχείο του Τζιάκομο Μέντιτσι, του Ιταλού εμπόρου τέχνης που καταδικάστηκε το 2004 για αρχαιοκαπηλία. Μόλις το διαπίστωσε, ο Χρήστος Τσιρογιάννης ειδοποίησε τις αρχές σε ΗΠΑ και Ιταλία και το αντικείμενο αποσύρθηκε από τη δημοπρασία, όπως γράφει η «Καθημερινή».
Δεν ήταν η πρώτη φορά που βρέθηκε στα ίχνη διεθνούς κυκλώματος αρχαιοκαπηλίας. Αλλωστε, την περίοδο 2004-2008 συμμετείχε ως αρχαιολόγος σε 174 αντίστοιχες υποθέσεις στην Ελλάδα, ενώ την τελευταία δεκαετία έχει ταυτοποιήσει περίπου 1.000 αρχαία κομμάτια.
Οταν η σύμβασή του με το δημόσιο έληξε και δεν ανανεώθηκε, ο κ. Τσιρογιάννης ξεκίνησε το διδακτορικό του στο Κέμπριτζ και συνέχισε να βοηθά αφιλοκερδώς τις ελληνικές αρχές, ταυτοποιώντας αρχαία αντικείμενα. Σε ερώτηση της εφημερίδας για το αν θα επέστρεφε στην Ελλάδα, για την ίδια δουλειά, απάντησε «Είμαι πιο χρήσιμος στην πατρίδα μου ευρισκόμενος στο εξωτερικό γιατί εργάζομαι χωρίς να μένω άνεργος λόγω της ειδικής φύσης της έρευνας που κάνω».
Ο Γιώργος Γληγόρης, που δεν είναι ποια εν ζωή και με τον οποίο είχε συνεργαστεί στο τμήμα αρχαιοκαπηλίας στην Αθήνα, του είχε δώσει πρόσβαση στα αρχεία των εμπόρων αρχαιοτήτων Τζιάκομο Μέντιτσι, Τζιανφράνκο Μπεκίνα και Σάιμς - Μιχαηλίδη. Μέχρι σήμερα, μόνο από το αρχείο Σάιμς - Μιχαηλίδη, που έγινε γνωστό μετά την υπόθεση της Σχοινούσας, έχει ταυτοποιήσει 721 αρχαία αντικείμενα, μεταξύ των οποίων ελληνικά, αιγυπτιακά, ινδικά αλλά και κινέζικα.
