Daft Punk took the top honors at the 56th Grammy Awards on Sunday when they took the awards for record of the year for "Get Lucky," with Pharrell Williams and Nile Rodgers, and album of the year for "Random Access Memories." They also nabbed the awards for best pop duo/group performance and dance/electronica album.
Other winners in the top categories include Lorde for song of the year and pop solo performance, and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis for new artist.
Macklemore & Ryan Lewis were also the top winners in the pre-telecast ceremony, nabbing the awards for best rap performance, rap song and rap album. Other early winners were Imagine Dragons for rock performance and Black Sabbath for metal performance.
