Jazz and pop singer Caro Emerald's second album, The Shocking Miss Emerald, has shot to the top of the charts, pushing East London drum and bass band Rudimental to number two.
Emerald's previous album, Deleted Scenes From The Cutting Room, is also in the charts at number 40.
Actor and comedian Hugh Laurie made it to number three with his second blues album Didn't It Rain.
In the singles chart, electronic duo Daft Punk are still at number one.
Chris Malinchak went straight in at number two with So Good To Me, followed by Let Her Go by Passenger, which is up one to number three.
New entry Armin Van Buuren featuring T Guthrie's This Is What It Feels Like was at number six, while the South Korean pop sensation Psy fell to 24 from 18 with Gentleman.
Pompeii by Bastille rose two places from 15 to 13.
Emerald is no stranger to UK chart success. In September 2010 the Dutch performer notched up a 27th week at number one in the album chart - smashing a record set 28 years ago by Michael Jackson's Thriller.
The rest of the current album chart saw Michael Buble's former number one To Be Loved at number four, with new entries including Lady Antebellum's Golden at number seven, Heart Of Nowhere by Noah & The Whale at 13 and Savages' Silence Yourself making it to number 19.
American rockers Goo Goo Dolls saw their album Iris fall 25 places from number 12 to number 37.
