ΥΠΟΓΕΙΑ ΠΟΛΗ 5000 ΕΤΩΝ ΣΤΗΝ ΚΑΠΠΑΔΟΚΙΑ
Εντυπωσιάζει η ανακάλυψη στην Καππαδοκία. Ερευνητές βρήκαν μια τεράστια υπόγεια πόλη, 5.000 ετών η οποία σύμφωνα με τους επικεφαλής είναι η μεγαλύτερη στον κόσμο.
Η υπόγεια πόλη βρέθηκε στην ιστορική Καππαδοκία, στην περιοχή Νεβσεχίρ. Ο δήμαρχος της πόλης, Hasan Ünver, χαρακτήρισε τις υπόλοιπες υπόγειες πόλεις που έχουν βρεθεί ως "κουζίνες"σε σχέση με το μέγεθος αυτής που ήρθε τώρα στο φως.
Ο επικεφαλής της διοίκησης της οικιστικής ανάπτυξης της χώρας, Mehmet Ergün Turan δήλωσε ότι η ανακάλυψη έγινε κατά τη διάρκεια υπόγειων διεργασιών.
"Δεν είναι κάποια γνωστή υπόγεια πόλη. Οι διάδρομοι των τούνελ φτάνουν τα 7 χιλιόμετρα! Σταματήσαμε όλες τις εργασίες που κάναμε στην περιοχή όταν τη βρήκαμε", είπε στην Hurriyet ο Turan. Πριν έρθει στο φως η υπόγεια πόλη, οι αρχές είχαν δώσει μέχρι τώρα για τις εργασίες που έκαναν 90 εκατ. λίρες. Ο υπεύθυνος σημείωσε πως η εν λόγω χασούρα δεν είναι σημαντική απώλεια δεδομένου της ιστορικής ανακάλυψης που έγινε.
Αν και το άνω τμήμα της πόλης είχε γίνει αντιληπτό από πέρυσι, ωστόσο μέχρι τώρα δεν είχε γίνει γνωστό το μέγεθος της ανακάλυψης. Μάλιστα, μέχρι τώρα έχουν ανασκαφεί και μελετούνται 44 ιστορικά αντικείμενα.
Μέχρι σήμερα, η πιο γνωστή υπόγεια πόλη στην περιοχή ήταν εκείνη που βρέθηκε στην πόλη Ντερινκούγιου το 1963. Τότε ένας τοίχος σπηλαίου γκρεμίστηκε και αποκάλυψε μια υπόγεια πόλη βάθους πάνω από 90 μέτρα.

Ακούραστοι, άοκνοι και υπερήφανοι οι τσολιάδες τυλιγμένοι με την ειδική μπλέ κάπα για άλλο ένα 24ωρο θα βρίσκονται στη θέση τους όπως τόσα χρόνια παρά τις χαμηλές θερμοκρασίες στην πρωτεύουσα.

ΤΑ ΠΟΛΥΤΙΜΑ ΜΥΡΤΙΛΛΑ ΚΑΤΑ ΤΗΣ ΑΡΤΗΡΙΑΚΗΣ ΠΙΕΣΗΣ
Μια χούφτα άγρια μύρτιλλα την ημέρα θα μπορούσαν να σας βοηθήσουν να μειώσετε τις αρνητικές επιπτώσεις της υψηλής περιεκτικότητας σε λιπαρά διατροφής.
Το συγκεκριμένο είδος φρούτου ελαττώνει τις επιβλαβείς επιδράσεις της κατανάλωσης λιπαρών στον οργανισμό, σύμφωνα με όσα υποστηρίζει μια νέα έρευνα που διεξήγαγαν ερευνητές από πανεπιστήμιο της Φινλανδίας.
Οι επιστήμονες απέδειξαν για πρώτη φορά, ότι τα άγρια μύρτιλλα έχουν ευεργετικές επιδράσεις στην αρτηριακή πίεση και την αντιμετώπιση των φλεγμονών, αναφέρει δημοσίευμα της βρετανικής εφημερίδας Daily Mail.
Οι ερευνητές πιστεύουν, ότι αυτό οφείλεται στα υψηλά επίπεδα πολυφαινολών που περιέχουν -χημικές ουσίες που καταπολεμούν διάφορες ασθένειες- σε σχέση με τα εμπορικά καλλιεργούμενα βατόμουρα.
Στο πλαίσιο της μελέτης τους, οι ερευνητές παρακολούθησαν την πορεία της υγείας ποντικιών για διάστημα τριών μηνών, στα οποία χορήγησαν τροφές υψηλής περιεκτικότητας σε λιπαρά.
Στη συνέχεια αξιολόγησαν τις επιδράσεις της διατροφής στα επίπεδα φλεγμονών που εμφάνισαν στα κύτταρά τους.
Οι ερευνητές διαπίστωσαν, ότι τα ποντίκια που είχαν φάει άγρια μύρτιλλα εμφάνιζαν μειωμένα επίπεδα φλεγμονών, καθώς επίσης και μειωμένα επίπεδα αρτηριακής πίεσης.

Πολύ άσχημα φαίνεται πως έκλεισε το 2014 για τη γνωστή τραγουδίστρια Σερ, καθώς, όπως μεταδίδει το περιοδικό Globe, αντιμετωπίζει μια δύσκολη ασθένεια και έχει μόνο τρεις μήνες ζωής.
Η Σερ πάσχει από το σύνδρομο Epstein-Bar, το οποίο εξασθενεί το ανοσοποιητικό σύστημα, ενώ η τραγουδίστρια θα χάσει τη ζωή της αν δεν υποβληθεί άμεσα σε μεταμόσχευση καρδιάς.
Αυτός φέρεται να ήταν και ο λόγος που τον περασμένο μήνα ακύρωσε τις εμφανίσεις της, ωστόσο, μέχρι στιγμής, ο μάνατζέρ της δεν έχει κάνει γνωστό πότε και αν θα μπορέσει να επιστρέψει στη σκηνή.

ΕΚΑΝΑΝ ΠΡΩΤΟΧΡΟΝΙΑ 16 ΦΟΡΕΣ
Δεκαέξι φορές Πρωτοχρονιά γιόρτασε ο Διεθνής Διαστημικός Σταθμός, και οι αστροναύτες που βρίσκονται σε τροχιά γύρω από τη Γη, έκαναν αλλεπάλληλα ρεβεγιόν.
Ταξιδεύοντας γύρω από τη Γη με ταχύτητα άνω των 28.000 χιλιομέτρων την ώρα, το πλήρωμα του Διεθνούς Διαστημικού Σταθμού πρόλαβε να γιορτάσει τον ερχομό της Πρωτοχρονιάς... 16 φορές!
Ο λόγος είναι ότι το πολυεθνικό τροχιακό συγκρότημα συμπληρώνει μια πλήρη περιφορά της Γης κάθε 90 λεπτά, και βλέπει την ανατολή και το ηλιοβασίλεμα 16 φορές την ημέρα.
Επισήμως, πάντως, το έτος 2015 άρχισε για τον ISS στις 02.00 ώρα Ελλάδας την 1η Ιανουαρίου, δηλαδή τα μεσάνυχτα σε ώρα Γκρίνουιτς.
Εκείνη την ώρα, το πλήρωμα υποτίθεται ότι θα έπρεπε να κοιμάται, είχε όμως τη δυνατότητα να μείνει ξύπνιο, αφού η μέρα της Πρωτοχρονιάς ήταν ελεύθερη.
Οι προπόσεις για το νέο έτος έγιναν με φρουτοχυμό, διευκρίνισε η NASA.
H επόμενη σημαντική μέρα για τον σταθμό θα είναι η 6η Ιανουαρίου, γιορτή των Θεοφανίων στην Ελλάδα, οπότε προγραμματίζεται να εκτοξευτεί το σκάφος Dragon που μεταφέρει εφόδια.
Στον ISS ζουν αυτό το διάστημα δύο Αμερικανοί αστροναύτες, μια Ιταλίδα και τρεις Ρώσοι κοσμοναύτες

ΣΤΟ ΣΦΥΡΙ ΤΑ ΔΥΟ ΙΔΙΩΤΙΚΑ ΤΖΕΤ ΤΟΥ ΕΛΒΙΣ ΠΡΙΣΛΕΙ
Ως «βασιλιάς», δεν θα μπορούσε να ταξιδεύει με τίποτα λιγότερο από ένα πολυτελές ιδιωτικό τζετ. Ο Ελβις Πρίσλεϊ δεν αρκέστηκε σε αυτό, αφού αγόρασε δύο και τους έβαλε την προσωπική του σφραγίδα.
Αυτά τα δύο ιδιωτικά αεροσκάφη, με επιχρυσωμένους νιπτήρες και βελούδινο κρεβάτι, βγαίνουν στο σφυρί. Πρόκειται για το «Lisa Marie» και το «Hound Dog II», τα οποία είχε σχεδιάσει ο ίδιος ο Πρίσλεϊ και αναμένεται να πιάσουν 10-15 εκατομμύρια δολάρια.
Πλέον τα δύο αεροσκάφη δεν μπορούν να πετάξουν, καθώς ήταν ένα από τα αξιοθέατα της Graceland, της έκτασης του Πρίσλεϊ στο Μέμφις, τις τελευταίες τρεις δεκαετίες.
Ο «βασιλιάς» αγόρασε το Convair 880 jet από την Delta Air Lines το 1975, δύο χρόνια πριν πεθάνει στα 42 του, διαθέτοντας 250.000 δολάρια. Του έδωσε το όνομα της κόρης του- «Lisa Marie» -και ξόδεψε πάνω από 300.000 για να το ανακαινίσει. Στα σχέδιά του συμπεριέλαβε ένα τεράστιο υπνοδωμάτιο, αίθουσα συσκέψεων και μπαρ μεταξύ άλλων.
Ομως, όσο περίμενε να ολοκληρωθεί η ανακαίνιση, αγόρασε την ίδια χρονιά το «Hound Dog II», για 900.000 δολάρια, με το οποίο μπορούσαν να ταξιδέψουν 8-10 άτομα.
