Greece has "serious indications" that a fire that killed at least 83 people near Athens earlier this week was started deliberately, Citizen Protection Minister Nikos Toskas says.
The blaze broke out on Monday and hit coastal villages popular with tourists.
Some 60 people are still being treated in hospital, 11 in intensive care. Dozens more are missing.
Earlier, rescue workers searching a cliffside in the seaside town of Mati found more human remains.
A large number of the victims were caught close to the cliff as the flames spread rapidly, whipped up by winds as high as 120km/h (75mph). Many of the survivors were saved by the sea, but dozens of victims were unable to reach the water.
Mr Kammenos was confronted by angry locals as he visited areas devastated by fires east of Athens this week.
Arriving in Mati, where many people died, Mr Kammenos was surrounded by residents who accused him of abandoning them.
But he said the actions of some residents had closed the roads to the beach, he argued.
"This is a crime from the past," he said. "This coast of Athens, all these properties, the majority are without a licence, and they have occupied the coast without rules."
Among those still missing are twin nine-year-old girls Vassiliki and Sofia Philippopoulou, who were with their grandparents near Mati at the time of the fire.

When undertaking mathematics, the establishment you choose for your studies can have a considerable impact.
To produce its Global Ranking of Mathematics 2018, ShanghaiRanking looked at factors including how many Field Medalists had studied at each institution.
The ranking shows that the majority of the best universities for mathematics are in the US.
If you're hoping to study maths and one day hope to get a Fields Medal of your own, the establishment you select for your studies can make all the difference.
After looking at over 1600 universities across 83 countries, ShanghaiRanking's has produced its Global Ranking of Mathematics 2018 — to qualify, universities needed a minimum number of research publications between 2012 and 2016.
In order to produce the mathematics ranking, the number of former students and teachers who had received either a Nobel Prize or Fields Medal — a prize awarded to up to four mathematicians below 40 years of age at the International Congress of the International Mathematical Union (IMU) every four years — was counted, as well as the number of researchers most cited within their own fields and those whose work had been published in select scientific reviews.
Here are the 17 best universities to study math according to the ranking.

Media captionSir Paul McCartney played a lunchtime gig, as The Beatles often did at the original Cavern
More than six decades have passed since Sir Paul McCartney first performed at the Cavern Club, but the Beatles legend returned to roll back the years at a "secret" gig there on Thursday.
Around 250 people crammed into a sweaty Cavern to hear the 28-song set.
The set list ranged from classics he performed when the Beatles started out at the Liverpool venue in the early 1960s to songs from his new solo album.
"Coming back here is pretty amazing for me," the 76-year-old told the crowd.
He skirted over the fact that the original Cavern was filled with rubble in 1973 and the venue for Thursday's show was a more modern live room attached to a replica Cavern that was built nearby.
"Imagine this for me - all these years ago when we played the Cavern we didn't know if we'd have any future," he said. "But we did OK."
The crowd included 175 lucky fans who had to race to collect the free tickets from the Echo Arena box office when the show was announced on Thursday morning.
Tom Gilchrist, 28, from Liverpool, started waiting outside the Cavern first thing after hearing rumours of the gig. But they jumped in a taxi when they heard they had to get to the arena.
They joined others running to the box office, and saw one woman faint in the process. "It was like Beatlemania all over again," he said.

Friend Chris Clements described the concert as "probably the best thing that's ever happened to me in my life".
He said: "We were so close he could have been in my lounge at home."
His girlfriend Dana Fischetti, 22, happened to be visiting from Connecticut, USA. "I'm so lucky," she said. "The chances of this happening are so long. It doesn't feel real that this is really happening. I love The Beatles."
Phones 'putting me off'
Sir Paul greeted the crowd by adapting the lyrics from the song Michelle: "Liverpool! Cavern! These are words that go together well."
After an introductory jam, he launched into "the song that got me in The Beatles" - Eddie Cochrane's Twenty Flight Rock, which Sir Paul played as his audition for John Lennon in 1957.
However he stopped the song halfway through and showed a rare bad mood when he berated the crowd for filming and taking pictures on their phones.
"I think you've all been told not to take photos," he said. "And you're taking them, and you're taking them, and I don't want to get put off, and you're putting me off."
One fan was ejected for filming during the opening jam, even before Sir Paul had made his plea.

Smartphones weren't an issue when The Beatles played at the original Cavern almost 300 times between 1961-63.
Since then, Sir Paul has only played at the current Cavern once, in 1999.
On Thursday, he said returning to the venue had given him "flashbacks to the early days".
He paid tribute to late bandmates John Lennon and George Harrison, and his set included In Spite of All the Danger, written and recorded when the group were still The Quarrymen.

There were also Beatles and Wings hits like Magical Mystery Tour and Band on the Run, as well as several tracks from his forthcoming solo album Egypt Station.
If this gig and those songs are anything to go by, he's keen to show he's still full of vim, vigour and virility.
Come On To Me, with its chorus "If you come on to me, well I'll come on to you", sounds like an attempt to suggest he'd still be casually courting, if he wasn't happily married.
'He's still got it'
He told the crowd the lyrics of another new one, titled Fuh You, are "open to interpretation" - when in fact they convey even more buccaneering machismo.
"He's still got it," said one concertgoer, James Jardine, from Liverpool.
He added: "To get so close to someone who's so famous and iconic is unbelievable. You feel you could reach out and touch him."
Hundreds more weren't so lucky and had to make do with listening to a busker playing The Beatles' hits as they waited outside for a glimpse of the rock legend.
On Monday, he also performed at Abbey Road Studios - where The Beatles famously recorded - watched by stars including Kylie Minogue, Johnny Depp and Stormzy.
Ο χρόνος, όπως και η μουσική δεν σταματά να γυρίζει σαν ανεμόμυλος, όπως και στους στίχους του περίφημου τραγουδιού, The Windmills of your mind, που χάρισε στον Λεγκράν το πρώτο του Όσκαρ: Round like a circle in a spiral, like a wheel within a wheel Never ending or beginning on an ever-spinning reel Like a snowball down a mountain, or a carnival balloon Like a carousel that's turning running rings around the moon Like a clock whose hands are sweeping past the minutes on its face And the world is like an apple whirling silently in space Like the circles that you find in the windmills of your mind

Most archaeological sites in Athens are old temples, but this ancient structure had a scientific purpose. When it was constructed at the end of the 2nd century BCE, the Tower of the Winds included sundials, a clepsydra (water clock), and a weather vane, effectively making it the first meteorological station in the world.
The octagonal structure was made almost entirely out of Pentelic marble, the same kind used for the Parthenon, which is rare to find in any structures other than temples. Built to measure time, it is also known as a horologion, meaning timepiece.
Each of its eight sides faces a point on the compass, and features a frieze depicting each of the eight ancient Greek wind gods, giving the tower its name. They are: Boreas (north), Kaikias (northeast), Eurus (east), Apeliotes (southeast), Notus (south), Lips (southwest), Zephyrus (west), and Skiron (northwest).
Beneath the friezes are eight vertical sundials where the shadow was cast on hour lines that, while faint, are still visible today. The building was originally topped with a bronze weather vane depicting the Greek Messenger of the Sea Triton, his hand pointing in the direction from which the wind was blowing.
The interior of the structure contained a complicated internal clepsydra, or water clock, which was driven by water flowing down from a large well under the Acropolis. This was essential for use on cloudy days or at night when the sundials were ineffective.
In early Christian times the structure was converted to a church, and the space outside to the northeast was used as a cemetery. During the Ottoman period, it was used as a place of worship by Sufi Muslim Whirling Dervishes. The Dervishes left after the Greek victory on the War of Independence, and afterward the building deteriorated until a restoration project between 1837 and 1845, when it was discovered that half the structure became covered with the earth and debris that had accumulated over the centuries, and half of it was underground.
Modern restorations have salvaged the ancient scientific structure, which is located in the Roman Agora between the Plaka and Monastaraki neighborhoods of Athens.

The "Summer Jam" concert takes place at Watkins Glen racetrack in New York, outdrawing Woodstock with a crowd of over 600,000. The Grateful Dead, The Allman Brothers Band, and The Band play to the massive crowd that paid $10 a ticket - if they bought one.
After the soundchecks turn into a de facto concert for the many fans who showed up the night before, the Summer Jam gets officially underway. The Band's set is interrupted by a thunderstorm. While the rest of the group seeks refuge, organist/keyboardist Garth Hudson refuses to be punked by weather and tears through a rendition of his improvisational master work "The Genetic Method." The concert grounds quickly turn into a mud bath reminiscent of the Woodstock scene from four years before. After the rain stops, the rest of The Band regains the stage and rips into "Chest Fever."
The Allman Brothers Band, never one to be outdone when it comes to fortitude or indulgence, play for three hours. "In Memory Of Elizabeth Reed,""Statesboro Blues," Whipping Post," and "Les Brers in A Minor" are righteously wailed.
About 150,000 people have paid $10 each for a ticket, but few, if any, have their tickets collected. All other attendees get in for free. The traffic jam resulting from the crowd is reputed by some sources to be 100 miles long. One reporter observes, "The odor of marijuana, mixed with that of exhaust smoke. Pollution—counter-culture style."
A local resident sees a redheaded woman "better than 200 pounds" walk through his land with no clothes on. Later he will remark, "You couldn't help but get a kick out of something like that."
The otherwise idyllic rock and dope fest is slightly tarnished by two events. The first is an incident involving Willard "Smitty" Smith of Syracuse, New York. Smith's body becomes engulfed in flames as he skydives over the concert with either a flare or an M-18 smoke grenade tied to his rig. The second event is the disappearance of Mitchel Weiser and Bonita Mara Bickwit, two teenagers attempting to hitchhike to the concert. They were never discovered.
The concert goes on to enter The Guinness Book of World Records for the largest audience ever at a pop festival. Historians estimate that nearly one out of every three people aged 17-24 from Boston and New York are in attendance.
Forty years later, cars abandoned by concertgoers are discovered by a maintenance crew.
The Grateful Dead's So Many Roads (1965–1995), released in 1999, includes an 18-minute jam they played during sound check.
The Wendy's fast food chain was named after founder Dave Thomas' daughter. She also appears in the company's friendly logo—but there's one more family member hidden in the picture. Take a closer look at the redhead's ruffled collar and you'll see the word "mom."
If you didn't already know that Baskin Robbins offered 31 flavors, the logo offers you another clue. The magic number is hidden in the curve of the "B" and the stem of the "R." Pick up one (or two) of the 31 flavors to make a cool ice cream dessert .

Burger King

The Burger King logo gets right to the point! The words "Burger" and "King" are two juicy hamburgers nestled in the middle of two buns. (Probably the chain's iconic sesame seed buns.) If the logo has your mouth watering, head to the drive thru and order something from Burger King's secret menu .
The Subway logo does its pointing with two hidden arrows. The first letter and the last letter of the name symbolize the entrance and exit of—you guessed it—a subway. These Slow Cooker Meatball Sandwiches will give you all the taste of the food court staple without going to the mall.
You won't believe you didn't notice this one before. The two "T"s in the center of the logo on Tostitos chips, salsas and dips are two people munching on chips. The "I" between them is a bowl of salsa at a table. Awesome!
The logo on every package of Hershey's Kisses gives a little bit of love to everybody who buys a bag. An extra kiss is cleverly tucked in between the "K" and the "I." You have to tilt your head a little to get it—just like a real smooch.
In the dot of the "I" in the Twix logo, there are two tiny Twix bars to subtly highlight the company's left Twix/right Twix campaign. Get your Twix fix in a super-size with these Chocolate Caramel Cracker Bars .
